upgrade products. At Mobel, we believe that our customer
is very important and
deserves to
be treated with the highest levels of quality, service
and support. This is why we have prepared these pages in
order to allow our customers to be better informed on
the policies and procedures that can affect daily
operations. In
other words,
better information equals a better and stronger
relationship with our customers. We urge you to read the
following since it contains important
information
on business hours, shipping, RMA returns and
much more.
Placing an order
Business
hours
Our business hours are 8:30 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. (local time) from Monday to
Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to
5:30 p.m. (local time) on Friday. After business
hours, orders can be placed by
fax, e-mail or through our Web site.
Minimum
order policy

Minimum order of $1000.00
on all sales assisted orders
(Voice,
Mail, Messenger included)

Order
pick-up
Customers
are allowed a maximum of three (3) business days to pick
up an
order. Beyond this deadline, the invoice will be
canceled and parts will be
returned to
inventory.
Purchase
order confirmations
Customers
must provide purchase order confirmations for every
transaction.
Special
orders
Orders
for non-stock product must be placed before 5:00 p.m.
EST in order to
secure next
day shipping. Special orders for non-catalog products
are non-cancelable
and
non-returnable for credit.
Applying
for credit
Account /
Credit applications
Terms and
credit are established within five (5 and 10) working
days following receipt
of a duly completed Account Application. Customers must
fill all sections of
the account application form. Mobel requires (3) trade
references with the complete
address, phone, fax numbers, contact names and credit
limits. Banking
information is necessary. An authorized signing officer
of the company must
endorse account applications. If the account application
is incomplete in any
way, your Mobel Sales Representative will ask you to
resubmit the form.
Revised
credit limits
Should
you feel your Mobel line of credit does not correspond
to your needs you may
contact the Credit Department to discuss how to increase
your limit. New account
applications are mandatory for every subsequent
revision.
Collection
procedures
A
three-day limit is allowed to resolve collection
problems with respect to overdue
invoices. If the problems are not resolved within this
time frame, any pending
order will be canceled without prior notification.
Accounts
with overdue invoices will automatically be placed on
credit hold. Overdue RMA replacement invoices or unpaid
restocking fees will result in automatic
credit hold. Mobel Electronics reserves the right to revoke
terms and credit
at any given time.

Returns
RMA
requests
RMA
requests must be submitted SOLELY to the attention of an
RMA Representative
in the following manner: RMA requests received after 5
p.m. (EST) will
be treated on the following business day.

The RMA
Department will process requests between 8:30 a.m. and
5:00 p.m. EST from Monday to Friday. No Return
Authorization numbers will be issued over the
telephone.
RMA
returns
RMA
packages must include a highly visible RMA number on the
outside of the box
as well as a copy of the Mobel RMA confirmation taped on
the surface of the package. RMA packages that do not
include an RMA number or those indicating a canceled
RMA number will be refused and returned freight collect.
All RMA returns
must be shipped to 477A Delmar Avenue Freight Prepaid as
indicated on the
RMA confirmation. Product returned by the customer in
person will not be accepted
without a valid RMA confirmation.
RMA
management
RMA
numbers will be canceled within five (5) working days
from date of issue. Customers can fax and apply for a
new RMA number. Mobel Electronics will refuse
an RMA return if contents exceed or do not match the RMA
confirmation.
Restocking
fees
Mobel's REPLACEMENT WARRANTY ensures replacement of
defective or
incompatible product in accordance with the duration and
terms of warranty expressed in our warranty statement. Due to market fluctuations, all
sales are final. No
return for credit or refund, exchange only. All matters
relating to restocking fees
can only be discussed with a Mobel RMA Representative.
Restocking fees will
depend on market trends as well as the age of the part
returned. If an evaluation
or demo product is returned beyond 15 days, the
customer will have to
pay a restocking fee. If product is returned beyond 30 days, the product will be refused
and customer will have to pay the entire invoice.
Replacements
Replacements
for defective, DOA or incompatible standard inventory
product will be
shipped upon receiving of returned goods. Non standard
inventory product must first
be returned and you must allow one (1) week for
replacement.
IMPORTANT
NOTE
RMA
credits cannot be applied to payments without having
first received a hard copy
of the RMA credit note. Mobel Electronics will refuse
all freight-collect RMA shipments.
Shipping
Late
order modifications
No orders
can be modified once they have been invoiced. Only
authority of the Credit
Manager can cancel invoices and your Mobel sales
representative will have to
enter a new sales order.
Policy on
reserved inventory
Because
of the wide price fluctuations inherent to the Memory
market, product can no
longer be committed to a customer without actually being
invoiced. Customers must
order the product immediately or risk losing priority to
another sales order.
Packaging
procedures for bulk Memory products
AZENRAM
product labels appear on every module. Small SIMM orders
will be packaged
individually in anti-static envelopes. It is the
responsibility of all Mobel sales
representatives to advise their customer that they may
receive mixed SOJ brand
names whenever stock quantities closely match those of
the sales order. Large orders will not be held simply
because a small fraction of the order must be filled
by parts that are of a different brand name. Your Mobel
Sales Representative must
indicate on his sales order if you require identical
brand product for the entire order
and warn you of the risk of having this order delayed.
Shipping discrepancies
Customers
must report any shipping discrepancy solely to the RMA Department
within 24 hours
of receiving product. Reports received beyond this
deadline will not be processed.
Loss and
damage
Before
accepting delivery of a package sent by Mobel, check
seal for tampering. Report
any loss or damage to the carrier within 24 hours.
Pick-up
orders
Pick-up
orders must be claimed within 3 days of date of invoice.
Beyond this point,
invoices will be canceled, product replaced in stock
without prior notification.
Customers must allow Mobel 2 hours to prepare a pick-up
from the time
the order is placed. The pick-up counter is closed
between 12 noon and 1 p.m.
Quality
assurance
All
products will be tested upon receiving. In the event a
high rejection rate affects
a fully committed inventory for a particular part,
orders will be processed in
invoice number sequence until depletion of tested
inventory. Sales Representatives
and branches will be notified of unfilled orders. All
orders are verified
twice. A different person handles each recount and
conformity-to-order inspection.
Technical
Support
For all
technical problems such as incorrect module shipped,
wrong parity, wrong Memory capacity, wrong jumper
setting or compatibility issues, clients must
contact our Technical Support Department.

If
product has been replaced twice and replacement still
does not solve the problem,
Technical Support will immediately contact the
responsible Sales Representative
to inform him or her of the situation.
Warranty
Statement
Mobel
Electronics warrants that its products are free from
defects in material and workmanship. Mobel will at it's
discretion, either repair or replace any product that
proves to be defective by reason of improper workmanship
or materials. Replacement products provided by Mobel on
an exchange basis will be either new or refurbished to
be functionally equivalent to new.
This
warranty does not cover any damage to products that
result form accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal
disaster or any unauthorized disassembly, repair or
modification.

Liability
Mobel
Electronics shall not be liable for any delay in
performance directly or indirectly caused by or
resulting from acts of God, fire, flood, accident, riot,
war, government intervention, embargoes, strikes, labour
difficulties, equipment failure, late deliveries by
suppliers or other difficulties which are beyond the
control, and without the fault or negligence of Mobel
Electronics. Quantities are subject to availability. In
the event of production difficulties or Product
shortages, Mobel Electronics may allocate sales and
deliveries at its sole discretion.
