Electronics Inc. is Canada's leading independent memory
distributor with offices in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and
Vancouver.
Founded in
1983 Mobel distributes more than 4,000 memory products for use
in computers, servers, printers, MP3 players, digital cameras
and cell phones. With
headquarters in Pointe-Claire Quebec, Mobel
serves a national network of resellers,
retailers and VARs across Canada.
The History of Mobel
Mobel
Electronics first started business by creating it's Azenram
house brand to compete with the
original equipment manufacturers for the lucrative Apple memory
upgrade market. The idea behind Azenram was to simplify
products codes for vendors and allow Mobel to create strong
relationships with brand manufacturers that opened the door to
the various product lines we now carry.
1983
Mobel Electronics provides PCB design and electronic
engineering services to the telecom industry.
1989
Mobel branches out into the memory distribution business by
creating it's own house brand "Azenram" and building a strong customer base
with Apple resellers in eastern Canada.
1990
Mobel offers third party PowerBook memory to Apple
resellers expands it's operations to new facilities in Ville
St-Laurent and opens a sales office in Vancouver.
1993
Mobel opens a sales office in Toronto.
1995
With increased demand for it's products, Mobel moves
its operations to larger warehouse facilities in
Pointe-Claire, opens
a sales office in Calgary and interconnects all it's offices
to a wide area network.
2001
Mobel acquires a complete ERP system that will allow
customers to conduct transactions through it's ecommerce
portal. The same year, Mobel becomes an authorized distributor
for Kingston Technology and Iogear.
2002
Mobel becomes an authorized distributor for Corsair
Memory, a top manufacturer of performance memory for gamers.
2004
Mobel introduces A-Data memory to Canada.
2005
Mobel doubles the size of it's warehouse facilities in
Pointe-Claire and signs an exclusivity agreement with Corsair.
